In certain conservative parts of the world, a billboard like this wouldn’t stand a chance. But this ellusjeansdeluxebillboard in Sao Paulo, Brazil pushes the barriers even by Brazilian standards.

Moscow’s Giant Martini Billboard

Martini really gets the message across to hard drinking Russians with an enormous billboard erected in Moscow. Compare the size of the cars at the base of the sign to get a feel of how large this sign is. Incredibly, behind the sign is a building to which the sign is attached, covering most it. Maybe the building was ugly anyway?  Too bad for the people inside the building wanting to look out.

Not only is Martini advertising here, but Russia’s largest gas company, Gazprom also has a huge sign on the top.

From Bangalore India, this billboard advertisement is for Mysore Sandal Soap. Check out this guy’s hair..what’s happen to it? Was the soap responsible for that?

Coca Cola billboard, Beijing China

This is classic Coca-Cola advertising at it’s best. The billboard in Beijing’s Sanlitun district features Taiwanese pop group S.H.E. and two other celebrities. In the centre is Chinese gold medalist athlete superstar, Liu Xiang who won the 100 metres atthe 2004 Atlanta Olympics. Coincidently, Atlanta is also the birth place of Coca-Cola.

Notice how Coke is using a true and tried method of marketing in this billboard advertisement by associating the product with people who are desirable, fashionable, successful and sexy. Works every time!

Gain detergent constructed this rather interesting 3D billboard in Toronto Canada using a real clothes line, clothes and mannequins (models of people) presumably drawn to the irresistible scent of fresh washing.

Irn Bru billboard Glasgow

Starving for McDonald’s, Wellington New Zealand

Portraying the image of a good corporate citizen, this is an example of McDonald’s New Zealand bus stop advertisements ”Hunger never sleeps”. A few of these were defaced with hunger crossed out and replaced with Money Never Sleeps.

Mcdonald’s billboard Yass New South Wales Australia

Oh dear, perhaps someone at Mcdonald’s should have thought about the layout a little more on this billboard near Yass, New South Wales, Australia.

Does that say MY ASS will be open at 6am?
